Steve Sakane created the most expensive and innovative Batmobile ever built. His creation achieved the world record of $10 Million for a custom-made automobile. This Batmobile took Steve 12 long years in the making from 1983 to 1995 because of highly-technological, space-age designing that was way ahead of its time. Steve envisioned this project because of his love for the Batmobile, its super powers, and the challenge of creating a one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art masterpiece (see San Jose Mercury News article and photos below).
